It's 50 years since Martin Luther King received his doctorate from Newcastle University, and events have been happening to commemorate this and to bring the community together to fight the three injustices

of poverty, racism and war that Dr MLK talked about. Well everyone has a mother, and at Wylam Methodist Church on December the 9th we are celebrating her life, with herstory, music and song. Written by Helen Walker, narrated by poet Ellen Phethean, with music by Uplifted choir, BellesUp Horn Quartet and I-sister. 7pm
