Keith Morris Memorial Concert - Launch of the DVD and CD.

Thanks to JJ OxberryHogg and LouieZico Callow, we have a DVD and CD of the concert marking the 10th Anniversary of the tragic death of Keith alongside his friend and fellow musician Joe Scurfield. This will be launched at the Jazz Cafe, on Pink Lane Newcastle on Friday 27th November from 6-8pm. Many musicians travelled from all over to re create some of Keith's music, listen to poetry from his wife Ellen Phethean and others, and dance to son Fred's performance with an assortment of Baghdaddies and jazzers. The DVD includes friends talking about some of the many bands and combos Keith wrote for and with and arrangements he made. Keith has been sorely missed these past 10 years for his inspiration and dedication. He died in the same year as poet and writer Julia Darling. Joe's legacy lives on in the form of Joe's Tune Bank. (More on that later)

Flautino

Alnwick Garden

Flautino played at Alnwick Garden for the Cherry Blosson Dedication Ceremony.

Rosanna played a solo Japanese piece based on a Haiku, then together we played while folk sent little lit boats out onto the pond. Lovely blossom, shame about the cold!
